The institution was founded in 1886 by the visionary Islamic scholar Maulana Obaidul Haq (R.), making it one of the oldest Madrasahs in Chattogram.
We offer Dakhil (SSC equivalent), Alim (HSC equivalent), Fazil (BA equivalent), and Kamil M.A (MA equivalent) programs, as well as a dedicated Hafeziya (Quran memorization) program established in 1976.
We are located on the Dhaka-Chattogram Trunk Road, Sitakund - 4310, Chattogram, Bangladesh. The campus is beside the historic Laldigi pond in Sitakund town.
Yes, we have an on-campus hostel for students from distant areas. The hostel was formally established on 13 February 1948 and was later upgraded to a two-storey building under Principal Maulana Muhammdul Haq.
Sitakund Kamil M.A Madrasah received permanent government recognition in 1967. It received Kamil M.A level approval in 1986 — exactly 100 years after its establishment.
